Do I have to Join?
No, the membership program is for REALTORS® only. Services to Buyers and Sellers is FREE.
Why should I use you?
We are here as a resource to you. We provide experienced Real Estate Professionals to help you with your Buying or Selling of residential real estate. As they are UU's or UU friendly, you may have a comfort zone to start your relationship. The purchase or sale of property is one of the largest investments most of us will make in our lives, what better person to work with than another UU?
What happens if I don' t like the REALTOR® you refer to me?
You are not contractually obligated to use any REALTOR we assign you. We would appreciate learning of any type of poor service or dislike of any of our referred REALTORS so if improvements can be made we can assist in seeing them made! REALTORS are like all people and UU's often know that we can run into people that we just don't enjoy working together. We will also try and provide you with another REALTOR if you prefer.
Why not have visible directory of REALTORS? When we started the UURN, we wanted to create an exceptional level of service that provided a real person along the way rather than a static directory of names. We wanted to make sure we had experienced professionals in the Network.
We also did not know how many UU REALTORS we would find across the Country. We did not know how to balance the advertising and marketing costs between those that we did know existed and those we hoped we would find! We would have needed to charge a very high advertising rate to the UU REALTORS to be listed on those pages and felt we would not get participation from many UU’s. In order to make this type of system work, we would also have needed to create other advertising options on the website.
We may still consider doing some limited advertising for other real estate related industries as we have been contacted by many UU’s who are Lenders, Home Inspectors and Architects. The numbers are few and far between so creating a separate directory for these industries would be cost prohibitive.

Why should I join? The most economical way to establish this network was to create a membership organization, allowing for minimal annual investment and specific referral fees per transactions. As no one knows the exact Real Estate trends expected in the future, it is impossible to guarantee referrals in any specific location. That being said, UU's live all over the Country and do move frequently. This Network will provide resources to them as they buy and sell across the Country. Priority will always go to our Member REALTORS®.
Why is there an annual fee? - The most economical way to establish this network was to create a membership organization, allowing for minimal annual investment and specific referral fees per transactions. If we had simply put a directory listing online the cost would have been overwhelming to cover the advertising, marketing and internet costs. There would be no referral fees per transactions and therefore all the costs would have to come from everyone across the Country to cover business costs. When you figure the UUWorld ad costs about $1700 an issue, the costs get quite expensive annually. In addition the referrals would have been nothing more than “cold leads”. Currently, we interview each “client” before sending on the information to a Member REALTOR®.
