UURN PRIVACY POLICY
PRIVACY POLICY – Unitarian Universalist Referral Network Effective on May 1, 2006.
Unitarian Universalist Referral Network (UURN) takes user privacy seriously. Any data submitted by homeowners or potential buyers will only be used by Real Estate Professionals and by the UURN team. UURN does NOT sell personal information to third party companies. Please take a couple of minutes to review UURN privacy policy below.
Information Collection and Use
Home Owner (Seller) and Home Buyer (Buyer), (collectively hereinafter “User(s)”), may submit a questionnaire in order to use request services from the UURealty.com Web site (the “Site”). As a part of the questionnaire, Users are required to give the UURN contact information such as their name, email address, home address, & phone number. UURN uses this information to contact Users about the services on the Site in which Users have expressed interest. The information is shared with Real Estate Professionals who are UURN RE Members or other REALTORS® that have agreed to provide Real Estate services to a User in a particular city/state.
Real Estate Professionals may submit an application for membership in the UURN. Real Estate Professional Applicants must first agree to this Privacy Policy and the UURN RE Member Terms and Conditions. UURN will use Real Estate Member information to contact Users about the services a UURN RE Member or non-member can provide. As part of the Application, applicants are required to provide personally identifiable information including contact information (such as name and billing address) and financial information (such as credit card number and expiration date). UURN will use this information to bill the Applicant after the membership application has been approved.
Unitarian Universalist Referral Network, LLC is the sole owner of the information collected on www.uurealty.com. Unitarian Universalist Referral Network, LLC only collects personally identifiable information from Users when the Users submit that information through the Web site or emails to a uurealty.com address or UURN Owners.
UURN does not share personally identifiable data with third parties for unknown or unrelated uses.
Uses of Information
For Users:
The information collected from Site is used to suit the needs of Users. UURN takes User information and tries to match Users with a Real Estate Professional in the User’s area. UURN will disclose personal information about Users to Real Estate Professionals in your area when you complete the Questionnaire forms. For Buyers, UURN allows the Real Estate Professionals to view all data received to help Real Estate Professionals better assist the User. For Home Owners, UURN will show the Real Estate Professional all data about your home. UURN will strive to try and find the best Real Estate Professional that fits the Users needs while at the same time keeping user information confidential.
When entering information on the UURN site, Users must complete all fields on the Questionnaire form to have their request submitted to UURN for review by Real Estate Professionals. UURN inspects every submission before it is sent for obscene or inaccurate information. The information may be scored against a database for the valid phone number and address. All offending submissions; including duplicate submissions; may be rejected. Your application could be denied for any reason. UURN reserves the right to disclose why the search was declined.
For Real Estate Professionals:
All information Real Estate Professionals supply to company will be kept private unless otherwise released to UURN via email or through a proposal to a Home Owner or Home Buyer. When a referral is made to a UURN RE Member or a non-UURN RE Professional, the REALTOR’S contact information is provided to the specific User. When entering information on the UURN site, Real Estate Professionals must complete all fields on the Application form to have their application submitted to UURN for review.
Communications from the Site
UURN will contact Users and RE Members via email in order to provide the services requested and/or connect RE Members with Users. Please place info@uurealty.com in your address book or select it as an approved site to receive information.
Service-related Announcements:
UURN will send Users strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if UURN service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, UURN might send users an email.
Generally, Users may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. In order to opt-out of these communications, users would have to opt-out to UURN website as a whole.
Customer Service
Based upon the personally identifiable information Users provide UURN, UURN will send users a welcoming. UURN will also communicate with users in response to their inquiries, to provide the services users request, and to manage user accounts. UURN will communicate with users by email, fax, or telephone, in accordance with their wishes. UURN’s preferred method of communication is email.
Personally identifiable information:
UURN shares personally identifiable information with third parties to specifically service the User requests.
When Users agree to the "General Terms and Conditions", UURN will send that Real Estate Professional their personally identifiable information. When Users submit a Buyer or Seller Questionnaire, their action is seen by UURN as an authorization of sharing their personally identifiable information with a third party. This action cannot be reversed, however it is not a contractual obligation to use a particular Real Estate Professional.
Legal Disclaimer
UURN reserves the right to disclose Users personally identifiable information as required by law and when company believe that disclosure is necessary to protect UURN rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on UURN.

This Web site contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by UURN. Please be aware that UURN, LLC, is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
UURN encourages users to be aware when users leave UURN site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information
If their personally identifiable information changes, or if the User no longer desires UURN service, the User may update or deactivate the user account by contacting UURN by telephone, email, or postal mail at the contact information listed below.
Security
The security of User’s personal information is important to company. When Real Estate Professionals enter sensitive information (such as their credit card number) on UURN registration or order forms, UURN uses commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
UURN follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to UURN, both during transmission and once UURN receives it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while UURN strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect user’s personal information, UURN cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Changes in this Privacy Statement
If UURN decides to change UURN privacy policy, UURN will post those changes to this privacy statement, and other places UURN deems appropriate so that users are aware of what information UURN collects, how UURN uses it, and under what circumstances, if any, UURN discloses it.
UURN reserves the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If UURN makes a material changes to this policy, UURN will notify Users here, or by means of a notice on UURN home page.
