Make your home welcoming to all.

When getting your home ready to sell focus on things that will make buyers view your home as THEIR future home.

Remove personal items such as family photos and other personal objects such as knickknacks and trophies. This allows potential buyers to focus on your house and create a mental image of your house as their house. 

If necessary, rent a storage unit to store packed items and furniture to open up rooms as much as possible.  It is very important that Buyers can walk comfortably through the house, look out windows and open doorways without fear of knocking anything over. 

For showings or open houses, open all window blinds, turn lights on, make sure the litter box is cleaned and laundry stored away.  

Remember to spruce up the front of the home.  It is the first glimpse Buyers get when looking at your property and it needs to grab their attention to want to see more
